FRENCH RASPBERRY PIE








FRENCH RASPBERRY PIE ...a classic raspberry pie recipe to try...delicious !

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 (9 inch) baked pie shell
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 vanilla bean
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 1/2 c. whole raw almonds
  • 1 1/4 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 1/2 tsp. almond extract
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1/4 c. heavy cream
  • 1 pt. raspberries (fresh)
  • 1 (6 oz.) glass currant jelly

INSTRUCTIONS
In double boiler, scald milk with vanilla bean. Remove bean. Mix flour, sugar, and salt. Add a little milk. Stir until smooth. Add to remaining milk and cook in double boiler until thick. Beat together 4 egg yolks and whole egg. Add a little hot milk mix. Stir until smooth.
Add to remaining milk mixture and cook over simmering water. Stir constantly until thick. Cool and stir into whipped cream. Pour into pie shell and cover with fresh raspberries - bottom side up. Melt jelly over low heat and pour over berries. Chill. The raspberry pie recipe is ready to serve....enjoy ! Bon apetit !

INGREDIENTS
  • 9 inch baked pie shell
  • 6 c. raspberries (may substitute strawberries)
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 3 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
INSTRUCTIONS
Mash enough raspberries to measure 1 cup. Mix sugar and cornstarch in 2 quart saucepan. Stir in water and raspberries slowly. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir 1 minute, then cool. Beat the cream cheese until smooth and spread on the bottom of cooled pie shell. Fill the shell with remaining raspberries; pour cooked
raspberry mixture over top. Refrigerate until set, at least 3 hours. The raspberry pie recipe is ready. Bon apetit ! Great for dessert !

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 can peach pie filling
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen red raspberries, thawed
  • 1 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • Pie crust for a double-crust pie
INSTRUCTIONS
Drain raspberries, reserving juice. Mix together cornstarch, sugar and juice. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and continue cooking until mixture is clear and slightly thick. Remove from heat and add raspberries. Pour peach pie filling in pie crust. Spoon raspberry mixture over peach filling and top with pie crust. Bake for 35 minutes at 425 degrees. The raspberry pie recipe of peach is ready to serve...enjoy this great pie ! Nice !

NECTARINE & RASPBERRY PIE ...another nice raspberry pie recipe to try....amazingly nice !

INGREDIENTS
  • Pastry for 9 inch 2 crust pie
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 4 c. sliced fresh nectarines (med. size)
  • 1 1/2 c. fresh raspberries
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp. butter
INSTRUCTIONS
Heat oven to 425 degrees. Prepare pastry. Mix sugar, flour and cinnamon. Stir in nectarines and lemon juice. Turn into pastry-lined pie plate. Top with fresh raspberries. Dot with butter. Cover with top crust that has slits cut in it. Seal and flute the edges.To prevent excessive browning of the edges, cover with 2 to 3 inch strip of aluminum foil. Remove foil during last 15 minutes of baking. Bake until crust is brown and juice begins to bubble through the slits in the crust,
approximately 35 to 45 minutes. The raspberry pie recipe is ready to serve with fresh whipped cream or vanilla ice cream....hmmm...delicious ! Enjoy the pie !

  • 1/2 can lime juice

  • Few drops red food coloring (optional)
  • 1 c. fresh raspberries
  • 1 graham cracker pie crust, baked and cooled
  • Raspberries and fresh mint leaves for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
Stir together milk and lime juice. Mixture will thicken.
Mix with whipped topping and food coloring. Gently fold in raspberries. Spoon into pie crust. Chill. The raspberry pie recipe of lime is ready to serve.....enjoy the feasts. !

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 single crust pie shell
  • 1 pt. fresh raspberries
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3 tbsp. flour
  • 3/4 c. heavy cream

INSTRUCTIONS
Prepare dough for single crust 9-inch pie and place in pie pan. Mix together the sugar and flour and sprinkle half the mixture in the pie crust. Place the washed and sorted raspberries on top, then sprinkle the remaining flour and sugar mixture on top of the raspberries. Pour the cream over all. Bake in the center of pre-heated 350 degree oven for 35-40 minutes. Let cool, then chill for a minimum of 2 hours. Best if served the same day. The raspberry pie recipe is ready to serve....great !

CHOCOLATE RASPBERRY AMARETTO PIE

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 chocolate Keebler pie crust
  • 2 (2 oz.) semi-sweet Nestle baking bars, melted
  • 1 (10 oz.) frozen raspberries, drained
  • 3 tbsp. amaretto
  • 1 Jello 1-2-3 mixed berries
  • 1 (8 oz.) extra thick Cool Whip or fresh whipping cream
  • Chocolate shavings
INSTRUCTIONS
Melt chocolate in microwave in bowl. Stir every 30 seconds until creamy and soft. Watch closely. Coat pie shells to rim with chocolate with a spoon evenly. Place in refrigerator to harden chocolate (approximately 30 minutes). In blender, follow instructions for Jello 1-2-3.
At the end of instructions, add 3 ice cubes and the amaretto and blend. Put raspberries in pie shell. Pour Jello mixture to 1/8 inch from top of pie shell. Place in refrigerator for at least 5 hours. Before serving, top with Cool Whip or fresh whipped cream and add chocolate
shavings. Place in refrigerator until ready to serve....hmmm..nice ! The raspberry pie recipe is ready ! Enjoy it !

RASPBERRY SOUR CREAM PIE RECIPE

INGREDIENTS
  • 9 inch unbaked pie shell
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/3 c. sour cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 c. fresh raspberries

TOPPING:
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/4 c. chilled butter
  • 1/2 c. loosely packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans

INSTRUCTIONS
Beat eggs and whisk in sour cream and vanilla. Mix sugar, flour and salt; add to egg mixture. Gently stir in raspberries. Pour into pie shell and bake at 400 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until center is almost set. Mix brown sugar, flour and nuts. Cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over hot pie and bake 10-15 minutes more. The raspberry pie recipe is ready to serve...

  • 1 baked pie shell
  • 2 c. red (or black) raspberries
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
INSTRUCTIONS
Beat egg whites until very stiff. Beat in sugar slowly and thoroughly. Add vanilla and 1/2 of Cool Whip with slightly mashed raspberries. Save enough raspberries to decorate remaining Cool Whip on top of pie filling. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving. the raspberry pie recipe is ready to serve 6 or 8 persons. Great !

INGREDIENTS
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3 tbsp. flour
  • 1 tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 c. fresh raspberries
  • 1 unbaked 8" or 9" pie crust

INSTRUCTIONS
Brush inside of crust with slightly beaten egg white to help keep crust crisp.
Beat the egg yolks until creamy. Stir flour and sugar together. Stir flour and sugar mixture, melted butter and milk into eggs. Fold in 2 cups fresh raspberries. Pour into prepared pie crust. Bake at 325 degrees until filling is set. Chill. The raspberry pie recipe is ready to serve with whipped cream....hmmm...nice ! Enjoy it !

RED RASPBERRY PIE .... great raspberry pie recipe to try ! Nice one !

INGREDIENTS
  • 4 c. raspberries, picked over
  • 1 c. granulated sugar
  • 1/4 c. Creme de Cassis (black currant liqueur)
  • 4 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 recipe pie crust
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 3 paper-thin slices lemon
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Toss raspberries and sugar together in a mixing bowl.
Whisk Cassis and cornstarch together in a small bowl until smooth. Stir Cassis mixture, lemon juice and salt gently into berries.
Roll out 2/3 of the pastry and line the pie pan; leave edges untrimmed. Spoon in the berries, dot with butter, and arrange lemon slices overlapping slightly in the center of the berries.
Roll out remaining pastry into 10-inch round and cut into 1/2-inch strips. Arrange over berries in a lattice pattern. Trim overhanging pastry; bring edge of lower crust over lattice and crimp edge.
Set on the middle rack of the oven and bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Lower heat to 350 degrees and bake for another 30 to 40 minutes, or until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbling.
